We blend the joy of gaming with delicious food and drink—including handcrafted crepes, bubble tea, and a vibrant community space. POSITION OVERVIEW

We're looking for enthusiastic part-time baristas to join our opening team. You’ll be the friendly face of our cafe, preparing delicious boba drinks and crepes, while also helping guests feel at home in our one-of-a-kind space.

Ideal candidates are customer service pros with a passion for games (board, card, RPG, or TCGs), strong attention to detail, and a team-first attitude. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys customer service, loves games, and wants a flexible, part-time role with a fun, supportive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Experience

• Provide warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service to all customers
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and loyalty programs accurately and with care
• Build relationships with regulars and help foster a fun, inclusive environment
• Share enthusiasm for tabletop games when engaging with guests

Cafe Operations

• Prepare a variety of beverages including bubble tea, coffee, and specialty drinks
• Follow food safety and cleanliness standards at all times
• Assist with crepe prep and basic food handling
• Maintain a tidy, well-stocked work area before, during, and after shifts
• Adhere to opening and closing procedures
• Keep calm and work efficiently during peak rushes

Team Collaboration

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers
• Support fellow team members in both the cafe and retail areas as needed
• Follow company policies and help maintain a safe and inclusive workspace

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18+ years old
• Reliable, punctual, with the ability to work at least 2–4 shifts per week, including evenings or weekends.
• Able to stand for up to 6-8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform basic physical tasks (e.g., restocking, sweeping, cleaning)
• Comfortable using POS systems and doing mental math for quick, accurate transactions
• Oregon Food Handler's Certification (or willing to obtain prior to start date)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous barista, food service, or customer-facing retail experience
• Experience working with boba, espresso machines, or in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Passion for board games, trading card games (e.g., Magic: The Gathering), or tabletop RPGs
• Interest in community events, gaming nights, or teaching others how to play games
• Knowledge of health & safety protocols in a food service setting
